On October 2, 2009, P.A.S. HOPFAN launched a Bible Institute based in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR). It is one of the most important projects of the organization in the training of JESUS CHRIST’s Disciples. Under the leadership of Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, the NGO’s President and Co-Founder, the Bible Institute has trained 81 Disciples of CHRIST to date.
The Institute provides a two-year basic training, with a diploma that enables students to serve the LORD as Souls Winners. Those who wish so can undergo the four-year training programme, which gives them the necessary knowledge for the Ministry of Pastor or Evangelist. Finally, the five-year training programme gives students the opportunity to go through a one-year specialization programme after the fourth year, notably in the areas of sanctification, worship, blessings, and preaching for children.
The Bible Institute intends to provide technical training to CHRIST’s Disciples who so desire, to help them carry out income generating activities in order to meet their financial needs in case they do not get external support. This will help them to survive and contribute to fund the Work of GOD at the same time, like Apostle Paul who used to build tents for the same objective.
In addition to this Bible Institute, P.A.S. HOPFAN is committed to place students in other Bible training organizations, based on GOD’s callings. Thus, from 2011 to 2013, three members of the Spiritual Awakening Mission church studied at the United Pentecostal Church Bible School of Lomé, Togo, with the financial support of the NGO. Upon completion of their training, they returned to CAR to help improve the Work of GOD.
In 2015, P.A.S. HOPFAN had to suspend the activities of the Bible Institute due to circumstances beyond our control. We will inform you of the inauguration of the new Bible Institute facilities on this website.
