They were more than 250 orphans and disadvantaged children to receive school supply kits offered by the NGO P.A.S. HOPFAN, on October 30, 2021, for the start of the school year 2021-2022. The supplies were mainly composed of notebooks, pencils and pens, as well as slates and chalks for some. This distribution activity took place at the House of Prayer for All Nations (HOPFAN) church in Boy-Rabe, Bangui, Central African Republic.
In addition to its own resources, the NGO was blessed to benefit from an in-kind contribution from a Burkinabe Sister whom the LORD had touched to bless these children. The NGO received additional boxes of school supplies from the hands of this Sister, which allowed the number of beneficiaries to increase. May our Heavenly Father YAHWEH repay her a hundredfold, in the Name of YAHSHUA.
We were pleased to deliver these supplies to pupils from kindergarten through the final year at school, and even to some university students. We know how essential it is to provide quality education and the necessary learning materials to train a new generation of Central African men and women, as well as those of other nationalities, so that they are better equipped to face the socioeconomic development challenges of the 21st century.
In addition to prayer, P.A.S. HOPFAN also serves the orphans and those who need it most through material actions, to help them become what the LORD has called them to be: men and women freed from all captivity and living the abundant Life that JESUS CHRIST has promised to those who serve Him. Therefore, beyond these material goods offered to these children, we pray that they will cling more closely to their Creator GOD, and to their LORD and Savior YAHSHUA (JESUS CHRIST), led by the Holy Spirit, so that they will not fall into the Devil’s trap and above all lose Salvation.
We also pray to the LORD to grant us more of His Grace so that we may have more resources to help orphans and needy children, and that they may become instruments in His Hands to serve Him and others, as well as their countries, according to His perfect Plans.
Proverbs 20:11 (NIV) tells us that, “Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.” And we want these children to have only pure and upright conduct.
Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” This is what we are trying to do as well with these children the LORD has given us.
Didn’t JESUS CHRIST call us to be children of Light? John 12:35-36 confirms it: “35. Then Jesus told them, ‘You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. 36. Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light.’ When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.”
So let us all be children of Light, not just any light, but the Light of JESUS CHRIST who also called us to be the Light of the world and the Salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13-16).
Shalom!
