On July 22, 2016, Pastor Léonard Gonitoua participated in a mission to raise awareness on peace and national reconciliation organized by the Central African Government at about 10 kilometers away from the city of Damara (south-western CAR). The mission, which was led by the Subprefect of Damara, met with villagers from the area to discuss their issues and urge them to use legal ways to resolve their divergences. Pastor Gonitoua encouraged the villagers to favour Love and reconciliation in their mutual relationships.
The villagers requested the support of P.A.S. HOPFAN to build a school as the area desperately lacks school infrastructure. The NGO recorded the request to examine it based on its financial resources or to mobilize the necessary support to respond to this essential need in basic education.
