From December 28 to 30, 2016, Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, President and Co-Founder of P.A.S. HOPFAN organized a Gospel Crusade with Church singer Samuel fils and the Christian music groups, La Connexion Divine (“Divine Connection”) and Shalom Angels, under the theme “Voro Na JESUS” (“Let’s Worship JESUS” in Sango, the national language of the Central African Republic). Church singers Fifi Lamandet and Anita Kossingou also participated.
Pastor Gonitoua based his message on the books of 2 Kings 5:1-14; Luke 9:11; and John 4:48.
The Pastor used 2 Kings 5 to lead the audience to the story of Naaman, the army chief of the king of Syria: He was a strong and valiant, but leprous, man. Therefore, he was seeking to be healed from his disease. Like in many families, some can be strong but with weaknesses. The Pastor touched upon the themes of patience, perseverance, and faith. He also gave the examples of people who are quick in getting angry and letting jealousy, quarrels and misunderstanding dominate their lives. All these evils are part of leprosy. Then the Pastor urged the audience to examine themselves and get rid of those issues before the end of 2016.
Based on Luke 9:11, the Pastor launched the theme “JESUS reigns in the Central African Republic.” He insisted on the fact that the healing of the Central African Republic (CAR) depended on the people of CAR themselves because, as far as Heaven was concerned, GOD had already planned the deliverance and healing of each Christian who believes in His Name.
The Pastor also used the book of John 4:48 to recall that JESUS CHRIST said if we do not see miracles or wonders, it is because we do not believe.
In fact, GOD has made miracles and glorifies Himself in the midst of His peoples. May all the Glory be His.
Amen!
